Meadowbrook Days
★★★★☆ 4.1
Meadowbrook Days is comfort food. You inherit a run-down smallholding and slowly bring it back — planting, fixing fences, getting to know the handful of villagers who each have their own little schedule. There's no pressure to optimize anything; the game is happy to let you potter.
The seasonal cycle gives it quiet structure. Crops change, festivals come around, and relationships deepen if you bother to chat with people. It's offline-friendly too, which I loved, so you're not tethered to a server.
It can get repetitive if you binge it, but played in small daily doses — which is clearly the intent — it's a lovely wind-down game before bed.
