About

MossForge started as a group chat where three friends kept recommending each other weird little mobile games. Half of them were forgettable, but every now and then one stuck, and we figured other people might want a filter they could trust. So we turned the chat into a website.,We play everything ourselves. Nobody here writes about a game they haven't actually sat with for a few evenings, and we try to reach the point where the novelty wears off before we form an opinion. That's usually where mobile games either reveal their depth or fall apart.,Picking what to cover is simple: it has to be an indie or small-studio release, it has to run on a normal phone without eating the battery alive, and it has to do at least one thing we haven't seen a hundred times. We skip the giant franchises because they already get plenty of attention.,We're not affiliated with any publisher, and we buy or download the games like anyone else. If that ever changes, we'll tell you right at the top of the page.

Jonas Berglund — Jonas has been reviewing games since his university paper days and now spends most evenings testing mobile releases on a shelf of aging phones. He's the one who insists every review mention the loading times.
